Kathy Griffin rang in 09 with anderson cooper live on CNN for the second time, this new years eve, and she managed to start off the year with a controversy. After discussing 'the real housewives', anderson sent the audience off to a commercial break, while a heckler from the crowd yells at the two reporter and comic. In typical Kathy behavior, she responds with a foul-mouth comeback. "Shut up!" Kathy yelled, "you know what, screw you! im working! why dont you get a job buddy! you know what, i dont go to your job and knock the dicks out of your mouth!". CNN later appoligized for the mishap and stated that "Kathy clearly did not realise she was on air". CNN removed the banter from it's later airings of the broadcast.
